La Leche League International encourages mothers who want to breastfeed to connect with other breastfeeding mothers in their community through a local La Leche League group. Breastfeeding is an intensely personal experience, and a connection with local breasfeeding mothers provides more personalized support and encouragement than an online discussion forum.
