About La Leche League of Connecticut
La Leche League of Connecticut is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping families provide human milk for their babies, through peer-to-peer support, encouragement, information, and education. Volunteer Leaders provide monthly support meetings throughout the state. The mission of La Leche League International is to help families reach their own personal breastfeeding goals and to promote a better community understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby, parents, and community .
La Leche League USA (LLL USA) and La Leche League of Connecticut (LLL CT) are committed to diversity and inclusion. LLL CT supports all breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and human milk feeding families, inclusive of their race, ethnicity, immigration status, national origin, creed, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, family structure, primary language, ability, or socio-economic status. Your annual $30 membership sustains the services La Leche League Leaders provide to breastfeeding families in Connecticut; offering mother-to-mother breastfeeding education, information, support, and encouragement.
