Why Donate?
Your contribution makes it possible for La Leche League of Connecticut to offer breastfeeding support and information to more families. La Leche League of Connecticut is a volunteer organization with few overhead expenses to ensure that available resources either directly benefit breastfeeding mothers or support La Leche League Leaders who help mothers in their communities at Series Meetings, on the telephone, via this website, by volunteering at WIC offices, and by offering information at health fairs and community baby showers. Connecticut Leaders also volunteer on the U.S. Breastfeeding Helpline, the Connecticut Helpline, via Web forums and email.
Donations of planned gifts, corporate matching gifts, those in honor of a group or individual, unrestricted or restricted gifts further the work of the organization in all the ways listed above.

How to Give
La Leche League of Connecticut is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax-deductible. Please retain your receipt for personal tax purposes. La Leche League of Connecticut's EIN is 06-0955190.

Be sure to indicate if you would like your membership to be applied to a particular Group. Please do not mail cash.
PayPal Online Donation
You may make a donation to La Leche League of Connecticut via PayPal by clicking the button below. PayPal is a well-known and respected method of making and accepting payments over the internet. You may use an existing PayPal account or set up a new account as you are making your donation. PayPal can receive payments made through most major credit and debit cards, as well as direct transfers from bank accounts.
Giving through United Way
Some local chapters of United Way allow you to designate which organization will receive your United Way donations. Many local La Leche League Groups are already listed as participating organizations. You may be able to donate to La Leche League of CT in this way even if we are not listed as a participating organization. Contact your employer or your local United Way to find out how.
